Farewell my friend…

22 December, 2008

Well the time has finally come to bid farewell to this old wordpress blog of mine.

It has been good, it has been fun, but, the time has come to move on to bigger images.

As I type this, I am a little sad moving on and remain in two minds as to which one I actually prefer.

In spite of this, I am in love with the bigger images and it really is time for a change.

So here we are –  enter my new ITDR blog just in time for the new year!

I promised no post without an image so here you are a couple of images off the new blog from a vintage engagement shoot!

Breather

19 December, 2008

It has been a roller-coaster year so  I’ll be taking a bit of breather. Hopefully I will be back again, raring to go in early January. In the meantime, I’ll try and keep the blog updated.

Back on the 12th January 2009. E-mails and calls will be answered sporadically during this period.

Part two of our cancelled photo shoot…..next up Liam….

My Turn…

17 December, 2008

In the chaotic ‘crimble’  build up, I had also managed to squeeze in a booking for a children’s lifestyle session. Things happen and the session was cancelled.

Great ! sigh of relief,  just what I need, an additional two hours of editing time . . . and then thought again.

Bugger that,  it’s my turn!

The location, the time slot and the  props were already sorted,  so it was just a case of, dress the short people and play away.

Each personality will be posted on their own…first up Oliver.

Kim & Leigh – Hakunamatata

12 December, 2008

Sorry y’all but I am going to make this a short post (Oh, how you’ll miss my great wit, right?!), but things are just chaos on my end,  a longer post will probably mean another two weeks of not posting.

I am not sure why, but there is something about a ‘Friday’ wedding that  seems  to make it a little more special to me. I feel like… it’s kind of a secret wedding, the only one on a day where everyone else is at work, sitting at their desks.

Kim & Leigh exchanged their vows at Casalinga and had their reception at Hakunamatata…a really unique affair!!

In between….

11 December, 2008

I’m trying to finalise Anne and Warwick’s wedding pic’s……Yep, that behind!!

Found this little “beaut” taken by Chantal Madgwick, my second shooter on the day.

Too Cute!

I know, I know, I know….

5 December, 2008

I haven’t posted in a while and missed my Monday/Tuesday deadline.

It’s just this “pre-Christmas crazyness” that seems to have taken over and has me running around trying to get it all sorted before the bloke in the red suit arrives.

‘Tis the season to be jolly?………Bah! Humbug!

More like ’tis the season to be gallivanting around toy shops; standing in queues; fighting for a Ben 10 watch, baking with the kids and swallowing one’s pride by allowing the kids to decorate the tree themselves – no matter how ghastly it looks.

Just a couple of images for now until, that is, I get a breather to post my wedding from last weekend.
